Live Lead Conversion Training

Real Estate Agents are more excited than ever about technology and creating an online lead conversion strategy. The softRealty team kicked off the first live session from the 6 week training series yesterday to a room full of eager agents at the Virtual Properties Realty Office Training Facility. After surveying the room, it became apparent very quickly that many of the agents were not using their website, which is a critical component of having an online lead conversion strategy.

We started the training session by discussing the 4 stages of lead conversion, which basically outlines how agents use various online tools to move people from strangers to clients. If agents want to create a digital footprint and really have success with their online business, they need to reset how they think about doing business online. Virtually, almost 100% of people start searching for homes online, but a vast majority of agents focus their business on referrals and friends (not online).

The group of agents at the VPR office were very interactive and about half way through the training, a discussion about blogging occurred. There was a common fear in the room about being able to not only find topics to write about but also time. Many business people, not just real estate agents, feel that they would struggle finding the time and creativity to rationalize starting a blog. A great conversation ensued which opened up the topic of Twitter (basically micro-blogging).

The session ran for about two hours and in the end it was made clear to the agents that tons of material would be covered over the course of the next 5 weeks. Here is the full list of sessions for the 6 week Lead Conversion Training Series:
